Paul McCartney coming to Stadium July 15

Paul McCartney, who has visited Yankee Stadium numerous times as a spectator, will make his first appearance there in concert Friday, July 15.

The general public ticket sale will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, online at http://www.livenation.com, via Ticketmaster phone at (800) 745-3000 and via Ticketmaster TTY at (800) 943-4327.

Yankees Universe members, Yankees full- and partial-season ticket licensees, Yankees Group Leaders and Yankees.com subscribers will have the opportunity to take part in a special pre-on-sale, the details of which may be found at http://www.yankees.com/mccartney.

In addition to the Paul McCartney concert this summer, “The Big 4” of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeath and Anthrax will perform at the Stadium Wednesday, Sept. 14. Tickers for “The Big 4” are on sale now at http://www.ticketmaster.com.

‘Big 4′ concert tickets go on sale Friday

Metallica, the group that made Enter Sandman a regular feature at Yankee Stadium as the theme song for Mariano Rivera, will appear in a “Big 4” concert with Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax Sept. 14 at the Stadium.

Ticket for the event will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, online at http://www.ticketmaster.com, via Ticketmaster phone at (800) 745-3000 and via Ticketmaster TTY at (800) 943-4327.
